Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Zoofyla (“Zoofyla,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit or make a purchase from our website (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Who we are
Our website address is: https://www.zoofyla.com.
For privacy questions or requests, contact: [email protected].
What information we collect
We may collect personal information you voluntarily provide, including: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, order details and purchase history, account login information (if you create an account), messages you send to customer support, product reviews or other content you submit, and marketing preferences (for example, newsletter signup).
We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Payment information is processed by our third-party payment providers.
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect: IP address, browser type and device information, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed and time spent on pages, approximate location derived from IP address, and cookie and similar tracking identifiers.
We may also receive information from payment processors, shipping carriers, advertising and analytics partners, and social media platforms if you interact with us through those channels.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the Site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep the Site functioning (for example, cart and checkout), remember preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and measure and improve advertising performance.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect Site functionality (for example, checkout). If we use third-party analytics or advertising tools (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel), those providers may collect information about your activity on our Site according to their own privacy policies.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
How we use your information
We use personal information to: process, fulfill, and deliver orders; communicate about orders, shipping, returns, and customer support; create and manage your account; send marketing emails or promotions if you opt in (you may unsubscribe at any time); improve the Site, products, and customer experience; prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms; and analyze Site performance and advertising effectiveness.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the business, such as e-commerce and hosting platforms, payment processors, shipping and logistics companies, email and customer support tools, analytics and advertising providers, and fraud prevention services. These providers may process personal information only as needed to perform services for us.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We may also share information when you ask us to or otherwise consent.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
We retain order-related personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill orders, provide customer service, comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements, and maintain security and prevent fraud. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably practicable.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
If you are a California resident, you may have rights to know, access, delete, or correct personal information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Email [email protected] with the subject line “California Privacy Request” or “Do Not Sell or Share.” We will verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
Depending on your state of residence, you may have similar rights to access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain targeted advertising. To submit a request, contact [email protected].
Email marketing
If you subscribe to our newsletter or marketing emails, we will use your email address to send product updates, offers, and related communications. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also email [email protected] to opt out. Transactional emails about your orders are not marketing emails and may still be sent as needed to fulfill your purchase.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Our Site is intended for customers in the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States and by payment, shipping, hosting, and analytics providers located in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, please note that privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults (18+) purchasing products for pets. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of the Site after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example, by email or a Site notice).
